The MOSAIC standard is a standardized size of 2×2 inches, or approximately 25×25 mm. Surface-mounted or concealed elements included in the so-called ‘white assembly’, such as LAN, electrical, and multimedia elements like electrical sockets, telecommunications adapters, or multimedia modules, are made in this standard. This standardized size ensures that the adapter will fit most supports mounted in frames as well as in trunking in surface installations.
