MOSAIC, or one standard
The MOSAIC standard is a standardized size of 2×2 inches, or approximately 25×25 mm. Surface-mounted or concealed elements included in the so-called ‘white assembly’, such as LAN, electrical, and multimedia elements like electrical sockets, telecommunications adapters, or multimedia modules, are made in this standard. This standardized size ensures that the adapter will fit most supports mounted in frames as well as in trunking in surface installations.
45° angle mounting, ensuring performance
The adapter is designed in such a way that the cable, along with the keystone terminated at its end, is mounted at a 45° angle inside the adapter and the box in which we mount the said adapter. The cable inserted at such an angle is not bent, which really affects better transmission parameters in a twisted-pair cable.
