securityNET F/FTP cable cat. 6A LSZH B2ca

The securityNET installation twisted-pair cable is designed for making connections between multimedia signal distribution points and user connection outlets. The U/FTP (shielded) twisted pair cable is an essential component for installations in computer networks, telephone systems, CCTV systems, and similar applications exposed to electromagnetic interference. It has an LSZH Cca outer coating. The cable meets the requirements specified by structured cabling standards: ISO/IEC 11801, EN 50173, EIA/TIA 568-C.2.

Application

Indoor

Cables designed for indoor installations are engineered to operate in stable environmental conditions typical of residential, office, and infrastructure buildings. Their construction, based on conductors made of 100% pure solid copper, ensures stable and consistent transmission performance along the entire cable length. The use of solid copper minimizes signal loss and supports compliance with the requirements of ICT systems. These cables are fully compatible with solutions used in structured cabling systems.

Category

6A (class EA)

Category 6A, corresponding to Class EA, is a structured cabling standard designed for data transmission speeds of up to 10 Gb/s (10GBASE-T). According to the standard, it operates at frequencies of up to 500 MHz, ensuring a high margin of transmission performance and stable operation in modern high-bandwidth networks.

Category 6A cabling is widely used in LAN networks, data centers, and IP surveillance systems, enabling reliable connections between devices such as switches, routers, servers, and IP cameras. In accordance with structured cabling standards, the maximum permanent link length should not exceed 90 meters, assuming the use of patch cords up to 5 meters long on both ends of the channel.

Shielding

U/FTP

U/FTP twisted pair cable does not have an overall shield; instead, each wire pair is individually shielded with foil. This design effectively reduces crosstalk between pairs and improves resistance to electromagnetic interference within the cable.

The cable is designed for installations requiring high-quality transmission, particularly at higher data rates and in environments with elevated levels of interference. It requires maintaining pair shield continuity and proper grounding in accordance with EMC principles. It is used in modern structured cabling installations, including high-density port environments.

Sheath

LSZH

The LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheath used in twisted pair cables is designed to provide enhanced fire safety. This material contains no halogens and, when exposed to high temperatures, emits minimal smoke without producing aggressive corrosive gases.

LSZH-sheathed cables are intended for indoor installations in environments with elevated safety requirements, such as public buildings, offices, data centers, and evacuation routes. Compared to PVC, the sheath is generally less flexible, but it provides better protection for people, infrastructure, and equipment in emergency situations.

CPR class

Cca

Cca-class cables demonstrate limited contribution to fire development. This classification is based on test results in accordance with EN 50399 and EN 60332-1-2 standards, including the measurement of heat release, fire growth rate, and flame spread.

The full class designation includes additional parameters: smoke production (s1, s2, s3), flaming droplets (d0, d1, d2), and the acidity of combustion gases (a1, a2, a3). Cca cables are subject to the AVCP 1+ assessment system, which includes production facility certification and periodic control testing.

Cables of this class are used in facilities with elevated fire safety requirements, such as office buildings, hotels, schools, evacuation routes, and common areas of multi-family residential buildings. In many EU countries, the Cca class is the standard required for installations in public-use buildings.

PoE

IEEE 802.3bt (PoE++)

The PoE++ Type 4 standard, compliant with IEEE 802.3bt, enables power delivery to network devices with up to 90 W while simultaneously transmitting data. Power is supplied using all four wire pairs (4PPoE), allowing support for high-power devices without additional power sources. The maximum transmission channel length is up to 100 meters.

PoE++ Type 4 is used to power advanced Wi-Fi access points, high-power CCTV cameras including PTZ and heated models, access control systems, information kiosks, multimedia terminals, Video VoIP devices, and other active equipment requiring approximately 71–90 W of power, depending on the power class.

Color

Orange (RAL 2004)

A color used in higher-category cabling where rapid identification of transmission paths is essential. Its vivid appearance makes it easier to distinguish cables in routes and telecommunications cabinets, reducing the risk of service errors. It is ideal for professional installations, data centers, and high-density cabling environments.

Warranty

5 years

By choosing securityNET cables, you are investing in solutions designed for long-term and reliable performance in network installations. These products are covered by a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty, confirming the quality of the materials used and the control of the production process.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects and workmanship faults revealed during use in accordance with the intended application and applicable installation standards.

Packaging

500m drum

Cable supplied on a standard 500 m reel. This packaging format is intended for larger installations, enabling efficient deployment of longer cable runs.
