PoE standards compliance: data and power over a single cable

Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology is increasingly used in everyday building installations. Sending PoE applications, i.e., powering via twisted pair cable while simultaneously transmitting data, reduces the amount of cabling installed in the building. PoE is most often used in building security systems. Plug termination does not require the use of a crimping tool

The modular design of the tool-less plug was created with the aim of maintaining proper transmission parameters. This applies to Category 6 and 6A cabling, where it is necessary to better isolate the cable wires, preventing crosstalk at the near end (NEXT parameter). The plug’s design allows for cable wire termination on IDC connectors without the use of a crimping tool.

Shielding, ensuring safety

The securityNET shielded plug is suitable for installation in computer networks, telephone networks, CCTV systems, etc., which are exposed to electromagnetic 1 interference. The shield incorporated into the cable’s construction effectively eliminates electromagnetic threats from both outside and inside the cable. This directly affects the quality of communication.
